Dream Retreat: Beachfront, Lake Michigan, IN Dunes, Miller Beach, IN

Short 35 minute drive/train ride from/to Chicago.

Southshore/Metra line station is 2 miles away (free parking) and takes you directly to the Museum Campus (Shedd Aquarium, Field Natural History Museum, Museum of Science and Industry, Adler Planetarium), the Loop, "Magnificent Mile Shopping" and all sight-seeing points in between. Convenient!

For those not able to walk on the dune path to the sugar-sand beach, Lake Street Beach Parking Lot is less than 1/4 mile from Retreat.  It has handicap parking spaces as close as possible to meet your friends/family on the semi-private beach!

Easy Directions From Chicago:

-90/94 EAST

-Take the Skyway (90E)

-Take Exit 17 (65 North/US12/US20)

-Turn right onto US 12/20 East Dunes Highway

-Veer right onto US 20 East at fork in the road

-Turn left onto S. Lake Street (Walgreens on right, McDonalds on left)

-Head North, until you see the beautiful blue of Lake Michigan!

-Turn right on Juniper and take it to the end of the cul-de-sac--simple!
